Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Region
Morning:
- Arrival in Entebbe. Meet and greet by your guide.
- Fly or drive to the Queen Elizabeth National Park region (depending on package preference).
Afternoon:
- Check-in at a comfortable lodge near Kikorongo.
- Relax and enjoy lunch with panoramic views of the savannah.
Evening:
- Sunset nature walk around the lodge surroundings.
- Enjoy a traditional Ugandan dinner with cultural storytelling by the fireplace.
Day 2: Kikorongo Equator Experience & Local Encounters
Morning:
- Early breakfast.
- Head to the Kikorongo Equator Monument for a guided experience:
- Learn about the Equator line and take part in fun water experiments.
- Capture iconic photos with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere and the other in the Southern Hemisphere.
Mid-morning:
- Visit the Kikorongo Women’s Community, known for:
- Traditional crafts (like basket weaving and beading).
- Dance and drumming performances.
- Opportunity to support local artisans by purchasing handmade souvenirs.
Afternoon:
- Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation by the pool.
- Optional: Massage or spa treatment.
Evening:
- Optional sundowner at a scenic lookout point near Lake George.
- Dinner at the lodge under starry skies.
Day 3: Scenic Safari or Kazinga Cruise Add-On (Optional)
Morning:
